Communist Party of Swaziland: "Taiwan's president Lai Ching-te is unwelcome"

The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) notes the recent police raids orchestrated by a Taiwanese security team in Swaziland. This action is viewed as a display of colonial power by the Taiwan separatist administration.

A team of approximately 30 security personnel entered Swaziland earlier this month. This team is reportedly an advance group preparing for the visit of Lai Ching-te, the so-called president of Taiwan, who is set to celebrate 40 years of Mswati's dictatorship in Swaziland in end April 2026.

Recently, Taiwan’s government has once again attempted to rewrite the history of the Second World War, claiming that the Communist Party of China (CPC) played no role in the resistance against Japanese imperialism and, by extension, no role in the victory over fascism. 

This claim is not only historically inaccurate — it is a deliberate act of political revisionism, intended to deny the legacy of socialist struggle and the contribution of the Chinese people in the 1945 Great Antifascist Victory. 

KKE: On the tension between the USA and China

In a statement about the recent escalation of tension between the United States and China over the visit of Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, the Press Office of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) points out (here in Greek):

“The recent visit of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives in Taiwan, the mobilization of US military forces and the broader tension in the Indo-Pacific, are links in the chain of the dangerous competition between USA and China for the primacy in the global capitalist system.
