Israeli communists condemn the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Ben-Gvir and fanatics

Ben-Gvir visiting Al-Aqsa on 13 August.
Israeli racist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on Tuesday, Aug 13, dismissed far-right Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s insistence that Jewish prayer on the Al-Aqsa-Temple Mount remains prohibited, repeating that it was his policy to allow the practice and eliciting outrage from Arab leaders as well as members of his own coalition.

However, Tuesday’s prayers were far more explicit, with numerous men flattening themselves on the ground, and loud calls of “Shema Yisrael” heard in videos from the scene, in violation of police instructions.

Eighty Israeli teenagers in their final year of high school published an open letter on Tuesday morning, December 5, addressed to ministers in the far-right government, in which they declared their refusal to serve in the army to protest the state’s policies of occupation and apartheid.

The new “Shministim Letter” reported on in Zo Haderech, the Hebrew-language website of the Communist Party of Israel, decries Israel’s military control of Palestinians in the occupied territories, referring to the regime in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem as an “apartheid system.”

Serbian communists denounce government's intention to relocate embassy in Jerusalem

The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) denounces the announcement made by the government of Aleksandar Vučić on the possible relocation of the Serbian embassy in Israel, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

In a statement under the title "Jerusalem is not the capital of Israel", the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia points out the following:
In response to the shameful announcement and agreement signed by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, together with US president Donald Trump and the so-called president of the so-called state of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, about Serbia’s intention to move its embassy out of Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) should like to point out a few facts to demonstrate why this intention may not be acted upon under any circumstances.

In the following interesting interview, the Young Communist League of Israel gives its perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land, the warmongering policy of the right-wing Netanyahu government, the fight against fascism and imperialism and the common struggle with the Palestinian people and youth for a lasting peace:

KKE slams Trump's plan for the Middle East: "It perpetuates and fortifies Israeli occupation"

In a statement published on 902 portal, the Press Bureau of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) condemns the so-called "peace plan" of the U.S. government for the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

U.S. President Trump presented his plan, standing alongside Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, during a press conference at the White House.

More specifically, the KKE denounces that “the U.S plan for the Palestinian Issue, which is falsely presented as “the deal of the century”, not only does not guarantee an independent palestinian state but perpetuates and fortifies israeli occupation.”

Israeli Communist Party: The settlements is a war crime endorsed by the United States

The Israeli Communist Party and the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Al-Jabha/Hadash) condemn US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's statement on Monday, November 18, that Israel's settlements in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 do not contravene international law.
This statement plainly reaffirms the US administration's unequivocal support for the policy of the Netanyahu government and the right-wing settlement project to the detriment of the right of self-determination for the Palestinian people, for the recognition of a “united Jerusalem,” for the elimination of the refugee issue, and for the erasure of the Green Line, all within the framework of the “Deal of the Century” and with the complicity of the Arab regimes.

Communist and Workers' Parties reaffirm solidarity with the Palestinian people

The Communist and Worker Parties decisively condemn the crimes committed by Israeli army against Palestinian people in the occupied territories, especially in the Gaza Strip, that has caused a bloodbath, murdering in cold blood unarmed demonstrators, men, women, and children.
The aggressive policy  of the Trump administration and the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and to move there the US Embassy, over and against the general international outcry, has encouraged the aggressiveness of Israel, that continues the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and continues massacring the Palestinian people.

Communist Party of Israel: The nation-state law is a fascist step towards Apartheid

CP of Israel: The nation-state law is a fascist step towards Apartheid.
The Communist Party of Israel considers the "Basic Law: Israel -the Nation State of the Jewish People", a serious fascist step aimed at undermining the right of self-determination for the Palestinian people, and at the elimination of the rights of the refugees. This law also expels the national and basic rights of the Palestinians citizens of Israel- as the nation-state law establishes a formal Apartheid system in Israel.

In a statement regarding the official transfer of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the Press Office of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece points out the following:

"The decision of the Trump government to open its new embassy in Jerusalem thus recognizing the city as the "capital" of Israel, portends new negative developments against the Palestinian people and all the people of the region.

Free Ahed Tamimi: Statement of the Secretariat of the European Communist Initiative

After the decision of the Trump government to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the government of Israel has been emboldened, increasing its aggressiveness against the Palestinian people. The State of Israel intensifies the assassinations of Palestinian demonstrators, repression, arrests, imprisonments, expanding the settlements on Palestinian territory.

PAME denounces the persecution of palestinian teen Ahed Tamimi by the state of Israel

Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi, 16.
The Youth Secretariat of the All-Workers Militant Front (PAME) denounces the murderer-state of Israel, which, once again revealed its barbarous face by arresting and imprisoning young children simply because they are defending their homes.
The arrest and charging with 12 accusations against 16-year-old Palestinian Ahed Tamimi, from an Israeli military court, is one more proof for all those who, together with the USA and Israel, talk about "Democracy and Freedom," and imposing their "right" with military courts, imprisonment and murder of young children.
It is a proof against the SYRIZA-ANEL government, which speaks of Peace and stability in the region, and builds relations with murderer states like Israel, which imprisons and murders young children, while the SYRIZA-ANEL Government continues to refrain from recognizing the Palestinian state.

United Nations: Major diplomatic defeat for the U.S. government - 128 countries rejected Trump's decision on Jerusalem

Cartoon: Carlos Latuff.
More than 120 countries defied President Donald Trump on Thursday and voted in favor of a United Nations General Assembly resolution calling for the United States to drop its recent recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. More specifically, in favor of the UNGA resolution voted 128 countries, 9 countries voted against and 35 countries abstained.

"[The resolution] Affirms that any decisions and actions which purport to have altered, the character, status or demographic composition of the Holy City of Jerusalem have no legal effect, are null and void," the document said. The document also calls upon UN members to "refrain from the establishment of diplomatic missions in the Holy City of Jerusalem".

Palestinian People’s Party - Communist Party of Israel: Joint Call against Trump's policy on Jerusalem

The Palestinian People’s Party (PPP) and the Communist Party of Israel (CPI) severely condemn US President Donald Trump’s December 6 decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a decision which is both a blatant attack on the rights of the Palestinian people and a significant blow to the requirements for a just peace based on UN resolutions adopted by most countries and the overwhelming majority of peoples worldwide.
The US policy supporting Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian Territories since 1967 can only lead to a resurgence of chaos and instability throughout the region and the world. The newly announced American policy regarding Jerusalem assures that the United States will continue to remain part of the problem, rather than serve as a positive factor in achieving a solution. There is no solution to the conflict other than ending the Israeli occupation and fulfilling the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination by establishing an independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital and resolving the refugee issue in accord with UN General Assembly resolution 194.

Common Appeal of Communist and Workers’ Parties in solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the unacceptable position of President Trump

The Communist and Workers’ parties that sign this common appeal:
1. Strongly condemn the unacceptable position of the President of the USA, D. Trump, through which the USA recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
2. This decision strongly undermines the just struggle of the Palestinian people against Israeli occupation, for the creation and recognition of a Palestine State at the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Moreover, this decision, which constitutes a dangerous provocation against the peoples of the Middle East, is moving towards the direction of a more general conflagration in the region in order to satisfy the US imperialist plans.

Communist Party of Israel (CPI) and Hadash strongly condemn Trump's decision on Jerusalem

The Communist Party of Israel and Hadash - the Democratic Front for Peace & Equality- strongly condemn the US president's, Donald Trump, statement concerning Jerusalem; a statement which denies the rights the Palestinian people have in the city.

This statement is  the outcome of the alliance between the US administration, the Israeli government and the reactionary Arab regimes and their escalating conspiracies against the just rights of the Arab Palestinian people- and mainly against his right to self determination: an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital according to the UN resolutions. This alliance's stand had never been more clear and obvious in context of, both, the Palestinian case and the overall developments in the region.

The recent decision of the U.S. Trump administration to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital city of the state of Israel has sparked outrage across the world. Below, you can read announcements by various Communist and Workers Parties:
