PCV denounces British court ruling that endorses the theft of Venezuelan gold by Guaidó

In a statement issued on June 29th the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) stresses out:

 

"The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) expresses its energetic repudiation of the recent judgment of the High Court of London in favor of the administration of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) illegitimately appointed by Juan Guaidó with regard to the custody of the gold property of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, deposited in the Bank of England.

Venezuelan communists on Maduro-opposition talks: A deal between elites

In a statement concerning the talks between representatives of the Maduro government and the US-backed right-wing opposition in Mexico City, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) talks about "deal between elites", denouncing the procedure as a "farce of a dialogue". KKE condemns Greek Premier Mitsotakis over his support to Venezuelan coup leader Guaidó

In a statement published in 902 portal, the Press Bureau of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) condemns Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' expressed support to U.S-backed Venezuelan coup plotter Juan Guaido. Mitsotakis met with Guaido on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The KKE statement reads:

"God Bless America": Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis 
and US-puppet coup plotter Juan Guaido.

Fully aligned with the US and EU imperialist policy, Greece's newly-elected conservative government of New Democracy (ND) has officially recognized US-backed coup plotter Juan Guaido as Venezuela's "interim President". 

This decision of Kyriakos Mitsotakis' government has already been denounced by progressive and anti-imperialist forces as an act that makes Greece an accomplice in the dangerous imperialist US-EU plans in the region. 

"This act supports the dirty intervention of the USA, the EU and their allies in Venezuela and it is directed against the legally elected President of the country and against the Venezuelan people as a whole" points out, among other things, the statement of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE). KKE denounces the recognition of US-puppet Juan Guaido by the Greek government

Earlier today, the Greek Foreign Ministry said the government recognized Juan Guaido as president of Venezuela "in order for him to call for free, fair and democratic presidential elections."

"The Government of the Hellenic Republic, in accordance with the common EU position in the statement of the EU High Representative/Vice President, Mrs Mogherini, on behalf of the EU28, decided to recognize the President of the democratically elected National Assembly, Juan Guaido as President a.i. of Venezuela, in order for him to call for free, fair and democratic presidential elections," a ministry statement said. 

Greece's SYRIZA government officially aligned with imperialists' position on Venezuela

The social democratic government of SYRIZA in Greece has openly endorsed the EU position for government change in Venezuela. 

In a message posted on Twitter, Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Katrougalos wrote: "In the crisis of Venezuela, Greece sides with Europe and the positions of High Representative of the EU F.Mongherini, which she co-shaped". 

KKE strongly condemns the imperialist-backed coup attempt in Venezuela

On the occasion of the new US-backed coup attempt in Venezuela, the Press Bureau of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has issued a statement (read here in Greek):

Mexico's Communist Party denounces US-EU aggression in Venezuela, calls for solidarity

In a latest statement, the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM) condemns the measures adopted by the Trump administration and the European Union against the people and the sovereignty of Venezuela. 

The PCM states that "the role of Guaidó reminds collaborationist governments, puppets of fascism" and pays attention to the provocation scheduled by the US and Guaidó for February 23rd, when in the name of "humanitarian aid" the imperialist centers of the US and the EU intend to instroduce "destruction and death" against the people of Venezuela and the country's sovereign rights. 

KKE denounces the US-backed coup against the government of Venezuela

In a statement regarding the developments in Venezuela, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) condemns the US-backed coup and the stance of imperialist organizations. More specifically:

"The KKE denounces the blatant intervention of the USA, their allied governments in Latin America, the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the EU, in the internal developments in Venezuela."
