On 7 November 1917 in Petrograd, the revolution triumphed. The Second Congress of Soviets proclaimed the socialist nature of the revolution, and adopted the Decree on Land and the Decree on Peace.
The importance of the Great October Revolution in the history of humanity is immense. It marked a radical shift from the old capitalist world to the new socialist world.

“Historical conclusions from the tactics of the anti-fascist fronts. The contemporary struggle of communists against fascism”

ECA Statement on the 1st of May
For the workers’ and communist parties, the 1st of May represents a day of struggle, in remembrance of those who came before us and in honor of those who will continue the struggle.
The working people, not only in the countries of Europe, but in the entire world, have in the past years stood face to face with the inhumanity and brutality of the capitalist system, which has put the entire burden of the increasing prices on the shoulders of the working people. By simultaneously keeping wages down, the situation for the workers and other exploited strata has worsened in every country.
French monopoly capitalism has a dual character: it is despoiling and rapacious on the international stage, but dependent on American, German, Japanese and Chinese capital in France. France is regularly the champion of foreign direct investment (FDI) received in the EU, as well as the EU champion of French FDI invested worldwide.
“Drawing strength from the workers’–people’s struggles, we fight against the EU of imperialist wars and capitalist exploitation - for a Europe of peace, people’s prosperity and socialism”
The Communist and Workers’ Parties of the EU member states, the associated states and other European countries, which co-sign this Declaration ahead of the European elections of June 2024, address the workers, the self-employed, the toiling farmers, the women and the youth of the popular strata, the pensioners, the migrants.

"International Working Women’s Day symbolises the process of emancipation of working-class women. It is inseparable from class struggle and the fight against the ever-worsening conditions of inequality experienced by women, which cannot be decoupled from the capitalist system in which we live.
The Opening Speech of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE):
"We, the communist and workers' parties which constitute the European Communist Action, came together at the conference organised in the second year of the imperialist war in Ukraine in order to evaluate the experiences and conclusions of the communists during the period we have left behind.

"The mass farmers’ protests that are taking place in many European countries, such as Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Greece, prove that the policies followed by the EU and the anti-popular governments, such as the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the “green” transition, have caused acute problems of economic survival for farmers and stockbreeders.
His contribution to the cause of the working class and the other popular strata, the struggle for the abolition of exploitation and the construction of the socialist–communist society is enormous.
Kostas Papadakis, MEP and member of the CC of the KKE, delivered the introductory speech at the teleconference. During the works, there was agreement and a significant convergence of views on important aspects of the issue.
The European Communist Action expresses its firm solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), which is currently under severe attack by the PSUV's regime in power in the country.
The contraction of oil revenue has led the PSUV's government to expedite continuous concessions to the bourgeoisie, accompanied by increasing restrictions on the political and labor-union rights of the working class and by intensifying repression of the proletarian resistance.
