Assessing the intensification of inter-imperialist antagonisms and the imperialist war itself, it is clear that workers and peoples must follow their own path and not be trapped in one or another camp of capitalist countries, because events confirm that these countries do not hesitate to sacrifice them, if it suits their interests, as happened in Syria.
The Communist Party also expresses its firm solidarity to the people of Cuba and Venezuela who are facing U.S imperialist aggression.
Regarding the first months of Claudia Sheinbaum's presidential term, PCM's Central Committee stresses out that “it is confirmed as a continuation of Obrador's social democratic government with clear anti-worker and anti-popular content, based on militarization, state corporatism and the use of welfare as a mechanism for social control”.
The PCM adds that Sheinbaum government's priority “is the maximization of monopolies' profitability based on the USMCA” and expresses its firm opposition to the so-called “Second Floor of the Fourth Transformation”.
