Once again, the European Parliament confirms its role as a political institution dedicated to the promotion of anti-communist lies and falsification of History.
In a statement, the Europarliament Group of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) denounces a new delirium of anti-communist propaganda by the majority of the European Parliament.

Anticommunism and History's falsification shall not pass!
"The Europarliament Group of the KKE voted against and denounces the unacceptable anti-communist joint resolution of the European People's Party - Social Democrats - Liberals - Far-Right – Greens, with the votes of New Democracy's MEPs, while Pasok voted "present".
Under the pretext of "misinformation and falsification of History by Russia to justify its aggressive war against Ukraine", the resolution resorts to a vulgar anti-communist delirium that reveals the real goal.
By deliberately attempting to identify capitalist Russia and Putin's bourgeois regime (a strategic partner of the EU until a few years ago) with the socialist USSR, it repeats the unhistorical and dangerous wretchedness of the EU that equates fascism - Nazism with communism. It employs the well-known slanderous slander about “Stalinist crimes” and “crimes of communism”, “occupation of the Baltic states and Poland” and other bankrupt lies. They falsify History to such an extent that they do not hesitate to formulate the unhistorical, outrageous construction that the Nazi German state and the first workers’ state in humanity, the Soviet Union, which bore the heavy burden of the defeat of Nazism with 20 million dead, are “co-responsible for the beginning of World War II with the aim of conquering and dividing Europe into two spheres of exclusive influence”.
Such is the anti-communist fervor of the bourgeois forces in the European Parliament, all of whom, together with the far-right (who whenever it suits them present it as a convenient “bogeyman”), go so far as to demand the further banning of communist symbols throughout the EU.
The deplorable resolution reveals that the deeper the EU’s military involvement in the imperialist war in Ukraine between the Euro-Atlantic camp and capitalist Russia, the more rampant anti-communism, repression, and attacks on workers’ and people’s rights and freedoms become. At the same time, it reveals the concern of the EU and bourgeois governments over the rapid increase in the number of workers who oppose the imperialist war in all EU member states, their fear of the workers' and people's movement, which, with the action of the communists, who in several EU member states face bans and persecution, seeks to put its stamp on developments through the common struggle of the peoples for their independent interests, against any involvement of their countries in the war slaughterhouse.
They are also concerned because they see that despite the industry of such miserable unhistorical resolutions and the tones of propaganda, the peoples, first of all in the countries that experienced socialism in increased percentages, continue to miss it, admire its leaders, remember, compare and recognize its superiority compared to the barbarity of capitalism that they live in today.
Anti-communism, the falsification of History and the war delirium of the bourgeois classes and their imperialist associations will not pass. Historical truth will shine, the peoples will win."
