In a statement (here in Greek) about the military raid of the Israeli military forces in the occupied West Bank territories, the Press Office of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) stresses out:
"The KKE strongly condemns the murderous state of Israel which, with the backing of the USA, EU, the ND Government and the bourgeois parties that support the so-called “self-defense” of the occupier, escalates the criminal attack in the West Bank of the Palestinian territories, while continuing the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
The planned all-out attack of the Israeli army in West Bank, the leveling of whole areas, the dozens of murders, injuries and arrests and the criminal activity of the settlers, debunk all kinds of pretexts that Israel uses to justify the genocide in Gaza.
Israel's main objective is the displacement of the Palestinian population from its lands, the cancellation of the efforts for the establishment of a Palestinian state, on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem and the further strengthening of its position in the region against other powers, a fact prepares the ground for a generalized war in the region, according with Israeli and Euro-Atlantic plans and goals.
Now! An even more decisive popular condemnation of the Israeli crimes is needed, alongside mass solidarity with the struggling Palestinian people, to stop the support of the government and to cut off political, military and economic ties with the murderous state of Israel, to strengthen the struggle for FREEDOM TO PALESTINE”.
