The fascist right-wing government would not dare take such risky action without encouragement from the United States, as we saw in Netanyahu’s reception in the American Congress.
These assassinations give cover to the Israeli government failure to reach the war’s objectives and eliminate any chance to reach a deal that will end the war, free the hostages & prisoners, reconstruct Gaza and enable the residents of northern Israel to return to their homes.
