“The dispatch of a Greek frigate to the Red Sea, under the pretext of the safety of maritime navigation and protection of merchant ships, involves the country even more deeply in the dangerous imperialist plans, which at this stage are directly linked to the support of the murderous policy of the Israeli state.
Both this mission and other missions of Greek warships in the Eastern Mediterranean and elsewhere, carried out in the framework of NATO operations, show the real purpose of the acquisition of warships and other armament programmes, which the Greek people are dearly paying for.
Greek ships or other military units have no business taking part in missions that have nothing to do with the defence of the country and the protection of its borders.Any kind of Greece’s involvement in imperialist plans must stop immediately!”

В комментарии пресс-службы ЦК КПГ по поводу отправки греческого фрегата в Красное море подчёркивается:
«Отправка греческого фрегата в Красное море под предлогом обеспечения безопасности судоходства и защиты торговых судов все глубже втягивает страну в опасные империалистические планы, которые на данном этапе напрямую связаны с поддержкой преступной политики государства Израиль.
Данная миссия, как и другие миссии в Восточном Средиземноморье и других регионах, в которых участвуют греческие военные корабли в рамках натовской операции, показывают, какова реальная цель программ по закупке военных кораблей и другого вооружения, за которые греческому народу приходится платить дорогую цену.
Греческим кораблям или другим военным подразделениям нет никакого дела к миссиям, не имеющим ничего общего с обороной страны и защитой ее границ. Немедленно прекратить всякое участие в миссии!»

¡Que se detenga ya cualquier implicación de Grecia en los planes imperialistas!
La Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central del KKE en su comentario sobre el envío de una fragata griega al Mar Rojo, destaca lo siguiente:
“El envío de la fragata griega al Mar Rojo, bajo el pretexto de la seguridad de la navegación y la protección de los buques mercantes, implica al país aún más profundamente en los planes imperialistas peligrosos que en esta fase están vinculados directamente al apoyo de la política asesina del Estado de Israel.
Tanto el envío de este buque militar griego así como de otros al Mediterráneo Oriental y otros lugares, en el marco de las misiones de la OTAN, demuestran el verdadero objetivo de la adquisición de buques militares y de los demás programas de armamento, para los que el pueblo griego ha pagado un precio muy alto.
Los buques griegos y otras unidades militares no tienen porqué participar en misiones que no tienen nada que ver con la defensa del país y la protección de sus fronteras. ¡Que se detenga ya toda implicación!”
