Hope for the people lies in the KKE!
We continue for a 100% people’s opposition
The Political Bureau of the CC of the KKE hails the thousands of people who strengthened the KKE with their vote and the people with whom we fought the battle for the Party’s electoral growth in the June election.
The 25 June election concluded the forming process of a new correlation of forces in Parliament and a new government that had started in May. The KKE, both in the May and June election, achieved a discernible rise in votes and percentage compared to the 2019 election. In particular, it recorded a rise of 100,000 votes and 2.5%. It is telling that the number of the KKE’s votes was less affected by the increased voter abstention recorded in June compared to the other parties. The KKE elected 21 MPs, 6 more than in 2019, while the decrease in the number of MPs compared to the May election is due to the rigged law of New Democracy that steals our seats.
We hail the working-class and popular neighbourhoods of the West, South and North constituencies of Athens, of Piraeus, of the East and West constituencies of Attica, of Thessaloniki, of Patras, of the entire country.
We particularly salute the districts, towns and villages where the people waged great, harsh class and political struggles and today casted their vote for the KKE en masse, giving the Party sometimes 1st place, as in Ikaria, sometimes 2nd place, as in Aspropyrgos and Lesvos, where we regained the parliamentary seat that we lost in May, and sometimes 3rd place, as in Attica, the largest region in the country.
The electoral reinforcement of the KKE is an indicator of the rise of the Party’s prestige among the working class and the entire people. Τhis prestige derives from the fact that the Party has been at the forefront of all the crucial fronts of struggle during the past period; from the emblematic workers’ struggles and demonstrations; from its stance during the pandemic; from its position and action against the imperialist war in Ukraine and Greece’s involvement in NATO plans; from the militant demands, the support and solidarity expressed by its Organizations, members and cadres during natural disasters while the bourgeois state had abandoned the people; from the struggles of farmers and the self-employed; from the action of the KNE among university and school students, which was also expressed by the first place of Panspoudastiki in the student elections for the second consecutive year.
The KKE was at the forefront of all the critical moments during 2019–2023, when New Democracy was in government, consistently in opposition from the point of view of the people’s interests both when struggles were waged and in Parliament, highlighting the class political choices of the government and the consensus of the other parties. This was the case with the pandemic, the imperialist war in Ukraine, but also the train crash in Tempe, where the KKE highlighted the responsibility of the policy of privatization and liberalization of transport promoted by all governments serving the profitability of business groups.
This stance allowed broader workers’–people’s forces to now trust in the KKE, acknowledging its consistency and stability in exposing the deception attempt of SYRIZA, despite their different views and thoughts.
The KKE was politically vindicated for its stance during 2012–2015 against the new rise of social democratic illusions brought about by the electoral strengthening of SYRIZA, as well as for the fact that, regardless of all the electoral losses it faced, it stood firm and did not consent to government alternation.
During this period, the KKE was able to better explain its stance towards bourgeois governments to broader popular forces; to present its own perception of workers’ power and governance, its character, the conditions for its realization, and the role that the KKE will play in it.
The rise of the KKE’s prestige also concerns its ideological–political intervention around strategic issues of history, economy and the contemporary ideological–political struggle, as well as the defence of socialism as the contemporary, realistic and necessary economic, political and social system; the only way out for the working class and the people of the country.
It also concerns the Party’s ability to make correct predictions about the course of developments, to enlighten and warn the people and the workers about them.
The Party’s prestige is also enhanced by its broader ideological intervention in a series of issues concerning advances in science, technology, education and health; its intervention in the discussion of contemporary social issues; its rich activity in the field of culture, which has enabled the rallying of broader forces and is also expressed by the mass participation in the KNE–Odigitis festivals.
We know that a broader section of workers, popular forces and the youth that is currently rallying around the KKE, does not agree with us on everything, is not firmly convinced of the political way out we propose and of the way to achieve it. However, we believe that today we are more capable to convince them. In the coming period, through our ideological–political intervention and discussion, but also through joint action with thousands of people on various fronts of struggle, we will be more capable to achieve a stronger rallying of forces around the KKE and its policy, its positions and its scientifically elaborated programme, which guarantees its consistent militant stance in favour of the workers’–people’s interests and in conflict with the objectives and strategy of the business groups.
All the above demonstrate that a vote for the KKE is not circumstantial or occasional. It is linked with its militant ties in the workplaces, the neighbourhoods, the villages, the places of health, education and culture. Those ties are strong and they must be strengthened even further. The process of forming militant links did not stop even during the election period. The candidates, the cadres of the KKE and KNE and the Party Organizations found themselves at the forefront of all the crucial battles of the previous period, even in the period between the May and June elections. We joined forces with hundreds of workers and breadwinners against the foreclosures of houses and small shops, in the demonstrations against workplace “accidents” in the Perama Ship Repair Zone, Lavrio, etc. resulting in dead workers, in the demonstrations condemning the crime off the coast of Pylos with hundreds of dead migrants and refugees, in the demonstrations of farmers to defend their income. We successfully fought battles to change the correlation of forces in trade union elections such as in LARCO and a number of hospitals, utilizing the elevated prestige that communists gained in the health sector, particularly during the pandemic.
All in all, the positive element of this electoral battle and result is the growing momentum of the Party’s electoral influence, despite the ongoing negative political correlation of forces. We believe that this momentum has a wider impact than its electoral expression and is linked with the struggle to regroup and give a massive character to the workers–people’s unions and organizations as well as with the change in the correlation of forces, over the years, in dozens of elections in trade unions, federations and labour centres of the working class, the farmers, the self-employed, craftsmen, tradesmen, scientists, students, doctors and teachers.
We know that those who chose to support the KKE did not make an easy choice. They were confronted with blackmailing dilemmas, prejudices, the dominant propaganda and illusions fostered by the government.
The MPs elected by the KKE are already where they promised to be the next day; at the forefront of the struggles against the problems faced by the workers and the people, at the side of the workers, the people and the youth.
We continue in a determined way. It is crucial that we continue the discussion and joint action around the issues that are on the agenda for the development of the popular struggle and the rise of the labour movement, with all those who have approached the KKE throughout this period, regardless of what they voted for in these elections.
At the same time, the reinforcement of the KKE gives courage and optimism to Communist Parties that struggle to change the correlation of forces in their own countries, to the workers’ struggles that are breaking out in the effort to regroup the international communist movement.
Difficult times lie ahead for the people. The KKE, as from tomorrow, will put into practice its commitment to be at the forefront of a 100% militant, working-class, people’s opposition. The Greek people should not keep a wait-and-see stance or give a grace period; especially the large part of the people who voted for New Democracy with a heavy heart.
From tomorrow, the working class and the popular forces will be faced with a new round of attack, against the background of new developments and facts:
- The implementation of the new memorandum prerequisites for the disbursement of the Recovery Fund and Stability Pact instalments.
- The transition to a strict fiscal policy, which essentially means a new round of social cuts and austerity in the name of primary surpluses as demanded by the EU, for the objective of investment grade.
- The possibility of a new financial crisis, the warning signals of which are already present in the USA and the EU, while the Greek capitalist economy is slowing down. These issues are highlighted both in the EU Commission’s spring economic forecast and in recommendations by the Bank of Greece.
- We are also following developments in the imperialist war in Ukraine, the pursuit of deeper Greek involvement in NATO plans, as well as the negative settlements being negotiated concerning Greek-Turkish relations, under the NATO umbrella.
New Democracy has already openly expressed its intention to expedite its anti-popular agenda and promote new commitments to EU policy and NATO plans, an issue that is also reflected in the composition of the new government.
Both SYRIZA and PASOK, as well as other forces currently in parliament, will essentially consent to the directions of this policy.
Ahead of us lie new anti-popular milestones:
- The NATO Summit, where new decisions will be taken for further involvement in the war in Ukraine, against the backdrop of the recent developments and the intra-bourgeois confrontation within Russia that has taken the form of an armed conflict.
- The commitment to adopt a package of anti-labour and anti-popular prerequisites within the framework of the commitments to the Recovery Fund by the end of August, entailing a new round of heavy taxation on the working class and the self-employed.
The KKE will immediately contribute to the struggle waged inside and outside the Parliament against anti-popular bills and the escalation of involvement in NATO plans. It will be the voice of the people against this negative political correlation of forces.
The correlation of forces remains negative mainly because the parties that support the policies of the business groups, the EU and NATO continue enjoying the vast majority of the workers’–people’s support. This does not signify acceptance of the anti-popular policy, or that those who voted, for instance, for New Democracy consent to its anti-popular programme. The electoral decline of the social-democratic pole expressed by SYRIZA and PASOK does not constitute an element of the negative correlation of forces; such an element is the disillusionment and fatalism systematically fostered by these parties, together with the notion that there is no alternative that led workers’–people’s forces to abandon them and support New Democracy. It is once again confirmed that all versions of social democracy (SYRIZA and PASOK) bear heavy responsibilities as they foster compromise and consensus on the anti-popular strategy and put stumbling blocks in the way of the labour–popular movement. Now an attempt is being made to conceal the responsibility of those parties, which while both in government and opposition have served the exploitative system, drawing dividing lines between the right, the centre and the left.
If anything has been proved, it is that those who promised that they would change things to the benefit of the people while serving the goals of the business groups, the capitalist system and the EU, i.e. without any conflict or rupture with the power of capital, the EU and NATO, lied to them. Only the KKE tells them the truth; that we can indeed change things, but that requires the overthrow of the current situation.
The enhanced presence of far-right and fascist parties in Parliament is another negative development of these elections; however, it is not the first time that those forces have won such a percentage. In both 2012 and 2015 those forces had recorded percentages above 10%. There is no room for complacency, because it is once again demonstrated that the roots of fascism–Nazism are to be found in the very system and the state; they are deep as there are various centres and interests supporting them. Fascism is fed by the official EU policy of anti-communism and the theory of two extremes, the EU policy on immigration issues, the policy of repression and offensive against the workers’–people’s movement.
Their over-promotion as an anti-systemic vote by the media and the apparatus of the system, which was also the case in 2012–2015, helped them to gain traction.
The unacceptable obstructionism in the Golden Dawn trial as well as the fact that various political forces have been buttering up Nazi supporters or adopting their political agenda have also played a role in this result.
It is confirmed that fascism–Nazism, due to its nature, cannot be dealt with by some legislative measures, which in fact open up dangerous paths. This is a matter for the workers’–people’s movement. The KKE will continue to struggle in this direction, as it has done so throughout the previous period.
The KKE will closely follow the debate that will objectively open up concerning the domestic political developments, as well as the processes that will take place in SYRIZA and perhaps in PASOK and other, smaller political forces. Those who were disappointed by PASOK in the past and by SYRIZA today, must take a step forward. The answer lies neither in trying to restore social democracy, nor in a new vicious circle of illusions and delusions. The answer lies in the policy of the KKE, in the class struggle, in the coordinated workers’–people’s struggles on the path of the overthrow of capitalism.
We have a firm conviction that the correlation of forces can change. Nothing remains static. The bourgeois political system will face difficulties in the coming period, as it has done before. Besides, even the figures show that since 2019 hundreds of thousands of people have abandoned New Democracy and SYRIZA, regardless of whether they casted a protest vote or abstained from voting.
The KKE will struggle together with thousands of workers and young people who are abandoning the impasses of social democracy and other bourgeois parties in order to reinvigorate hope. We call upon them all to rally around and join forces with us. In the face of disillusionment, fatalism and compromise cultivated by SYRIZA and other forces, the KKE insists that hope for the people lies in the path of conflict with this policy, this system, the directions of the EU and the commitments to NATO.
The way to change the correlation of forces lies in the current disputing the dominant bourgeois policy, its class character, the parties and governments that serve it and the state of capital. It lies in the current that is not looking for new saviours resulting from an alternation in government. It lies in a current that seeks a solution to today’s problems through organized struggle, participation in the movement, collective action and class struggle.
There are important political struggles ahead of us; we single out the battle of the imminent municipal and regional elections. A further rallying of workers’–people’s forces can be expressed in this battle through the ballot papers of “People’s Rallying” nationwide.

ЗАЯВЛЕНИЕ ПОЛИТБЮРО ЦК КПГ О ВЫБОРАХ 25 ИЮНЯ

Мы продолжаем быть 100% народной оппозицией
Политбюро ЦК КПГ приветствует тысячи избирателей, отдавших свой голос за КПГ, укрепляя ее позиции, тех, кто вместе с нами вел эту предвыборную борьбу за электоральный подъем КПГ.
Выборами 25 июня завершился начавшийся в мае процесс формирования нового расклада сил в парламенте и нового правительства. Как в майской, так и в июньской предвыборной борьбе на фоне в целом отрицательного политического расклада сил был отмечен отчетливый подъем КПГ, улучшившей свой результат на 2,5%, или 100.000 голосов по сравнению с выборами 2019 года. Характерно то, что низкая по сравнению с майскими выборами явка на июньских выборах повлияла на количество голосов, отданных за КПГ, меньше, чем за остальные партии. КПГ избрала 20 депутатов, что на 5 депутатов больше, чем в 2019 году, а наблюдаемое уменьшение количества депутатов от партии по сравнению с майскими выборами связано с новым избирательным законом НД, позволяющим урвать наши места в парламенте.
Мы приветствуем рабочие районы Западного, Южного, Северного избирательных округов Афин, Первого и Второго избирательных округов Пирея, Западного и Восточного избирательных округов Аттики, Первого избирательного округа Салоник, Патр, всей страны.
Мы особо приветствуем районы, города и деревни, где велась крупная, жесткая классовая и политическая народная борьба и где народ сегодня массово отдал свои голоса за КПГ, усилив позиции партии, так, например, на острове Икария КПГ заняла первое место, 2-ое место на острове Самос и в Аспропиргосе, 3-е место в целом в крупнейшем регионе страны, Аттике, а также на острове Лесбос, где нам удалось вернуть место в парламенте, потерянное на майских выборах.
Усиление электоральной поддержки КПГ является показателем роста авторитета партии среди рабочего класса и всего народа, завоеванного ею в предыдущий период борьбой, которую она вела по всем основным фронтам и шла в ее авангарде, участием в крупных акциях протеста. Позицией, которую она заняла во время пандемии. Позицией и деятельностью против империалистической войны на Украине и участия Греции в натовских планах. Деятельностью по отстаиванию требований, выражению поддержки и солидарности, которую развернули парторганизации, члены и руководящие деятели партии в условиях стихийных бедствий и бездействия буржуазного государства, их участием в борьбе крестьян и самозанятых. Деятельностью, которую вела КМГ среди студентов и учащихся, выразившейся также в том, что второй год подряд «Панспудастики» занимает первое место на студенческих выборах.
КПГ шла в авангарде борьбы во все критические моменты правления НД с 2019 по 2023 гг., являясь твердой оппозицией с точки зрения народных интересов, ведущей борьбу на улицах, а также в парламенте, указывающей на классовый политический выбор правительства и консенсус других партий. В период пандемии, развязывания империалистической войны на Украине, а также в связи с преступлением в Темпи, она указывала на ответственность всех правительств за проводимую ими политику приватизации и либерализации транспортной сферы для обеспечения прибыли предпринимательских групп.
Именно такая позиция позволила более широким рабочим и народным массам сегодня опереться на КПГ и, несмотря на различные мнения и видения, признать ее последовательность и твердость в разоблачении СИРИЗА, пытавшейся ввести их в заблуждение.
В политическом плане политическая позиция, занимаемая КПГ в период 2012-2015 гг. по отношению к новому росту социал-демократических иллюзий, вызванному победой СИРИЗА на выборах, оказалась оправданной, и, несмотря на плохие результаты на выборах, она выстояла, не согласилась поддерживать чередование партий в правительстве.
За это время КПГ смогла лучше объяснить более широким народным слоям свое отношение к буржуазным правительствам, показать свое собственное представление о рабочей власти и соответствующем правительстве, его характере, условиях его создания, роли, которую КПГ будет играть в нем.
Повышение авторитета КПГ связано также с ее идейно-политическим подходом к стратегическим вопросам истории, экономики и современной идейно-политической борьбы, защиты социализма как современной, реалистичной и необходимой экономической, политической, общественной системы, как единственного выхода для рабочего класса и народа страны.
Это также касается возможности партии правильно прогнозировать ход событий, просвещать и предупреждать о них народ, трудящихся.
Кроме того, авторитет партии поднимает более широкий идеологический подход КПГ к ряду вопросов развития науки и техники, образования, здравоохранения, участие в обсуждении современных социальных проблем, насыщенная деятельность в области культуры, которая позволила сплочению более широких сил, что также выражается в массовом участии в Фестивалях КМГ.
Мы знаем, что большая часть трудящихся, народных сил и молодежи, которая в настоящее время объединяется вокруг КПГ, не во всем с нами согласна, нетвердо верит в предложенное нами политическое решение и в то, как оно будет достигнуто. Однако мы считаем, что сегодня у нас больше возможностей убедить их. У нас имеется больше возможностей через проведение в последующий период идейно-политических мероприятий и обсуждений, а также совместной деятельности с тысячами людей на различных фронтах борьбы, еще больше сплотить их вокруг КПГ и ее политики, позиций, научно разработанной программы, являющейся гарантией ее последовательной решительной позиции в пользу интересов трудящихся и народа, против целей и стратегии предпринимательских групп.
Приведенные выше данные показывают, что голос за КПГ не является конъюнктурным, временным. Они показывает, что узы борьбы на рабочих местах, в соседних кварталах, в деревнях, в сферах здравоохранения, образования, культуры прочны и расширяются, и соответственно должны еще больше укрепляться и расширяться. Процесс укрепления уз борьбы не прекращался и в предвыборный период. Кандидаты в депутаты парламента, руководящие деятели КПГ и КМГ, партийные организации находились в первых рядах борьбы в предшествующий период, даже в период между майскими и июньскими выборами.
Мы были вместе с сотнями трудящихся на акциях протеста против продажи жилья и небольших магазинов с аукционов, участвовали в митингах против преступлений работодателей в судоремонтной зоне, Лаврион и на других предприятиях, где погибли рабочие, в протестных акциях, осуждающих преступление против сотен мигрантов и беженцев, погибших недалеко от берегов Пилоса, в борьбе в защиту доходов крестьян.
В целом, несмотря на сохраняющийся отрицательный расклад сил, отмечается продолжающийся динамичный подъем электорального влияния партии, что является положительным элементом и этой предвыборный борьбы и итогов выборов. Отмечается динамика, которая имеет более широкий отклик, чем ее электоральное выражение, и она связана с борьбой за создание массовых организаций и органов рабочего народного движения, за изменение расклада сил все эти годы при проведении выборов руководства в профсоюзах, массовых организациях, ассоциациях, федерациях, рабочих центрах, т.е. в профессиональных объединениях рабочего класса, крестьянства, самозанятых, ремесленников, работников торговли, ученых, студентов, врачей, учителей.
Мы знаем, что тем, кто решил отдать свой голос за КПГ, пришлось сделать нелегкий выбор перед лицом шантажирующих дилемм, предрассудков, господствующей пропаганды, правительственных иллюзий.
Депутаты, избранные от КПГ, с сегодняшнего дня уже находятся там, где они обещали быть: рядом с трудящимися, народными слоями, молодежью участвуют в борьбе, решают проблемы народа.
Мы решительно продолжаем борьбу. Крайне важно продолжать вести диалог, совместную деятельность вокруг вопросов, которые выносятся на будущую повестку дня, о развитии народной борьбы, о подъеме рабочего народного движения, со всеми, кто на протяжении всего этого периода присматривались к КПГ, независимо от того, как они проголосовали на этих выборах.
Укрепление позиций КПГ придает силу и оптимизм коммунистическим партиям, борющимся за изменение соотношения сил в своих странах, трудящимся в их борьбе за реорганизацию международного коммунистического движения.
Следующий день будет трудным для народа. С завтрашнего дня КПГ будет претворять в жизнь свое обязательство - станет стопроцентной боевой рабочей народной оппозицией. Греческий народ не должен давать передышку, делать скидку правительству НД, особенно та часть народных слоев, которая с тяжелым сердцем проголосовала за НД.
Завтра рабочий класс и народные слои столкнутся с новым витком нападок на фоне новых событий и данных:
- Выполнение нового меморандума в соответствии с установленными Пактом стабильности требованиями для получения очередного пакета помощи из Фонда восстановления.
- Переход к жесткой налогово-бюджетной политике, что, по сути, означает новый виток социальных сокращений и жесткой экономии во имя первичных профицитов по требованию ЕС и достижения «инвестиционного уровня».
- Возможность нового экономического кризиса, предупреждающие сигналы, поступающие из США и ЕС, в то время как рост греческой капиталистической экономики замедляется. Вопросы, освещённые в Весеннем отчёте Комиссии и в рекомендациях Банка Греции.
- Ход империалистической войны на Украине, стремление к большему втягиванию Греции в натовские планы, а также негативные последствия урегулирования греко-турецких отношений под натовским зонтиком.
НД уже открыто выразила намерение ускорить антинародную работу, готовность выполнять новые обязательства перед ЕС и НАТО, что также отразилось на составе нового правительства.
СИРИЗА, ПАСОК, а также другие парламентские партии по существу согласятся с направлениями этой политики.
Впереди нас ждут новые антинародные события:
Саммит НАТО, на котором будут приниматься новые решения по войне на Украине на фоне развития событий и внутреннего межбуржуазного противостояния в России, принявшего форму вооруженного конфликта.
Обязательство к концу августа утвердить значительный пакет финансирования в соответствии с антирабочими антинародными требованиями в контексте обязательств перед Фондом восстановления, что наложит новое налоговое бремя на рабочий класс и самозанятых.
КПГ будет голосом народа, будет постоянно бороться на улицах и в парламенте против каждого антинародного законопроекта, участия в натовских планах, за изменение негативного политического расклада сил.
Расклад сил остается отрицательным главным образом потому, что партии, поддерживающие политику предпринимательских групп, ЕС, НАТО, продолжают пользоваться поддержкой большинства народа. Это не означает одобрения антинародной политики, не означает, что те, кто голосовал, например, за НД соглашается с ее антинародной программой. Элементом отрицательного расклада сил является не электоральное проседание социал-демократического полюса, представленного СИРИЗА и ПАСОК, а систематическое культивирование этими партиями фаталистических настроений, разочарования, мнения о безальтернативности политики власти, которое привело к тому, что рабочие народные массы проигнорировали эти партии и поддержали на выборах НД. Именно на социал-демократии в каждом ее варианте (СИРИЗА и ПАСОК) лежит огромная ответственность за это, так как она занимает соглашательскую позицию, обеспечивает консенсус в отношении антинародной стратегии, ставит подножки рабочему народному движению. Сегодня предпринимается попытка скрыть ответственность этих партий, которые, участвуя в правительстве или находясь в оппозиции, служили эксплуататорской системе, проводя разделительные линии между правыми, центристами и левыми.
Было подтверждено, что те, кто обещал, что смогут что-то изменить на благо народа, служа целям предпринимательских групп, капиталистической системе, ЕС, т.е. бесконфликтно, без разрыва с властью капитала, ЕС, НАТО, обманули народ. Только КПГ говорит ему правду, что да, мы можем что-то изменить, но для этого необходимо изменить текущую ситуацию.
Усиленное присутствие в парламенте крайне правых и фашистских партий является еще одним негативным моментом этих выборов, однако эти силы не впервые демонстрируют такой процент: и в 2012, и в 2015 году они набирали более 10%.
Никакого самоуспокоения быть не должно, так как в очередной раз подтверждается, что корни фашизма-нацизма глубоко уходят в капиталистическую систему и государство, и есть различные интересы и центры, которые поддерживают фашизм, ведь именно он является порождением этой гнилой эксплуататорской системы. Подпиткой фашизма является официальная политика ЕС, антикоммунизм и теория двух крайностей, миграционная политика ЕС, репрессивная политика и политика подавления рабочего народного движения.
Их активное раскручивание в течение предыдущего периода СМИ и центрами системы в качестве антисистемного голоса, как это происходило в 2012-2015 годах, способствовало их «раздуванию».
На этот результат также повлияли неприемлемые помехи в проведении судебного процесса над «Золотой зарей» и тот факт, что различные политические силы заигрывали с нацистскими последователями или одобряли их политическую повестку дня.
Подтверждено, что с фашизмом-нацизмом в силу его природы невозможно эффективно бороться с помощью принятия некоторых законодательных актов, которые фактически ведут к опасному пути. Борьба с фашизмом является делом рабочего народного движения, и КПГ будет продолжать бороться в этом направлении, как она это делала в течение всего предыдущего периода.
КПГ будет активно следить за дебатами, которые объективно начнутся, а также за политическими событиями, за процессами, которые будут запущены в партии СИРИЗА и, возможно, в ПАСОК, а также в других более мелких политических партиях. Те, кто в прошлом разочаровался в ПАСОК, а сегодня в СИРИЗА, должны сделать шаг вперед. Выход лежит не в попытке восстановления социал-демократии и не в новом порочном круге иллюзий и заблуждений. Выход лежит в политике КПГ, на пути классовой борьбы, согласованной рабочей народной борьбы за свержение капиталистической системы.
Мы твердо верим в то, что расклад сил меняется. Ничто не остается статичным. Буржуазная политическая система столкнется с трудностями в следующий период, как это уже случалось в прошлом. Кроме того, даже данные указывают на то, что за период с 2019 года по сегодняшний день от НД, СИРИЗА отвернулись сотни тысяч избирателей, независимо от того, голосовали ли они против всех партий или не участвовали в выборах.
КПГ будет бороться вместе с тысячами выходящих из тупика трудящихся, молодых людей, в который их завела социал-демократия и другие буржуазные партии, чтобы вновь укрепить надежду. Мы обращаемся ко всем им с призывом к сотрудничеству и совместной деятельности.
Несмотря на разочарование, фаталистические и соглашательские настроения, культивируемые СИРИЗА и другими партиями, КПГ стоит на своем и говорит, что надежда есть, и она заключается в борьбе против этой политики, этой капиталистической системы, директив ЕС, обязательств перед НАТО.
Для изменения расклада сил необходимо усилить течение, ставящее под сомнение буржуазную политику, ее классовый характер, партии и правительства, служащие ей, капиталистическое государство, усилить течение, не ищущее новых спасителей в лице чередования партий у власти, ищущее решение сегодняшних проблем в организованной борьбе, участии в народном движении, коллективной деятельности, классовой борьбе.
Впереди нас ждет важная политическая борьба - муниципальные и региональные выборы. И на них есть возможность еще большего сплочения рабочих народных сил вокруг КПГ и поддержки избирательного списка «Народное сплочение» в масштабах всей страны.

Comunicado del Buró Político del Comité Central del KKE sobre las elecciones del 25 de junio
¡La esperanza para el pueblo está aquí!
Seguimos con una oposición 100% popular
El Buró Político del Comité Central del KKE saluda a los miles de votantes que fortalecieron con su voto al KKE, a los que libraron junto a nosotros esta batalla electoral por el ascenso electoral del KKE.
Con las elecciones del 25 de junio se culminó el proceso de formación de la nueva correlación en el Parlamento y del nuevo gobierno que comenzó el mayo pasado. El KKE tanto en las elecciones del mayo como en las de junio, en una correlación política negativa, registró un ascenso considerable en votos y porcentaje en comparación con las elecciones de 2019. En concreto, tuvo un aumento de 100.000 votos y 2,5% en porcentaje. Cabe destacar que el número de votos del KKE fue menos afectado en comparación con los demás partidos a causa del aumento de la abstención entre las elecciones de mayo y las elecciones de junio. El KKE eligió 21 diputados, 6 más que en 20196, mientras que la reducción que se nota en los diputados en comparación con las elecciones del mayo se debe a la ley amañada de la ND que “roba” nuestros escaños parlamentarios.
Saludamos a los barrios obreros y populares de Atenas, del sector oeste, sur y norte de Atenas, del Pireo, de este y oeste de Ática, de la primera circunscripción de Tesalónica, de Patras, de todo el país.
Saludamos particularmente a los barrios, las ciudades y los pueblos, que estuvieron marcados por grandes y duras luchas populares, de clase y políticas, y que dieron su voto masivamente al KKE, llevando el Partido en algunos casos en la primera posición,como en Ikaría, en otros lugares en la segunda posición, como en la prefectura de Samos, en Asprópirgos y en Lesbos, donde recuperamos el escaño parlamentario que habíamos perdido en mayo,y en otros lugares en la tercera posición como en región más grande del país, Ática.
El fortalecimiento electoral del KKE es un indicador de aumento del prestigio del Partido en la clase obrera y en todo el mundo.
El prestigio que ha adquirido el Partido se debe al papel protagonista que ha desempeñado en todos los frentes cruciales del período anterior, en las luchas y movilizaciones obreras emblemáticas. Se debe a su poción durante el período de la pandemia. A su posición y acción frente a la guerra imperialista en Ucrania y la implicación griega en los planes de la OTAN. En la acción de reivindicación, apoyo y solidaridad que han desarrollado las organizaciones del Partido, sus miembros y cuadros en condiciones de desastres naturales y de abandono por el estado burgués, de las luchas de los campesinos y los trabajadores autónomos. En la acción de la KNE en los estudiantes secundarios y universitarios, que además fue expresado en las elecciones estudiantiles en las que por segundo año consecutivo “Panspoudastiki” surgió como primera fuerza.
El KKE desempeñó un papel destacado en todos los momentos críticos durante la gobernanza de la ND (2019-2023) ejerciendo firmemente una oposición desde el punto de vista de los intereses populares en las luchas, pero también en el Parlamento, señalando las opciones políticas de clase del gobierno y el consenso de los demás partidos.Esto se hizo en el período de la pandemia, de la guerra imperialista en Ucrania, así como en el caso del crimen en Tempe, destacando la responsabilidad de la política de privatización y liberalización de los transportes que promovieron todos los gobiernos para servir a la rentabilidad de los grupos empresariales.
Esta postura permitió a amplias fuerzas obreras y populares a apoyarse al KKE, reconociendo -a pesar de las diferentes opiniones y pensamientos que naturalmente tienen- su coherencia y firmeza en revelar el intento de SYRIZA de engañar.
El KKE ha sido justificado políticamente por su postura en el período 2012-2015 ante el nuevo auge de las falsas ilusiones socialdemócratas que había provocado el fortalecimiento electoral de SYRIZA, por el hecho de que a pesar de las pérdidas electorales que sufrió, se mantuvo firme, no consintió al apoyo de la alternancia gubernamental.
En este período, el KKE logró explicar mejor a fuerzas populares más amplias, su postura hacia los gobiernos burgueses, presentar su propia concepción del poder obrero y la gobernanza respectiva, su carácter, las condiciones para su realización, sobre el papel que va a desempeñar en este.
El aumento del prestigio del KKE concierne además su intervención ideológico-política en torno a cuestiones estratégicas de la historia, de la economía y del debate ideológico-político contemporáneo, de la defensa del socialismo, como el sistema social, político, económico contemporáneo, realista y necesario, la única salida para la clase obrera y el pueblo del país.
Además, concierne la capacidad del Partido para hacer predicciones correctas sobre el curso de los desarrollos, para informar y advertir al pueblo y a los trabajadores sobre estas.
Algo que aumenta el prestigio del Partido es su intervención ideológica más amplia en una serie de cuestiones que conciernen los avances en las ciencias y la tecnología, especialmente en la educación, en el sector de la Salud, la intervención en la discusión de temas sociales contemporáneos, la rica acción en el campo de la Cultura, que ha permitido agrupar a fuerzas más amplias, lo que se expresa también en la participación masiva en los festivales de la KNE.
Sabemos que una parte más amplia de los trabajadores, de fuerzas populares y de jóvenes, que se agrupan en torno al KKE, no está de acuerdo en todo con nosotros, no se ha convencido firmemente de la salida política que proponemos, y del camino que hay que seguir para conseguirla. Sin embargo, consideramos que tenemos más posibilidades de convencer a la gente. Tenemos más posibilidades en el período próximo a través de nuestra intervención y debate ideológico-político, así como a través de la acción conjunta de miles de gente en varios frentes de lucha, para lograr una agrupación en torno al KKE y su política, sus posiciones, el Programa científicamente elaborado que es una garantía de su postura militante coherente a favor de los intereses obreros y populares en conflicto con los objetivos y la estrategia de grupos empresariales.
Los datos anteriores demuestran que el voto al KKE no es circunstancial ni ocasional, sino que está relacionado con los vínculos combativos en los centros de trabajo, en los barrios, en los pueblos, en los centros de servicios de salud, de educación, de cultura, que perduran y se expanden y, en consecuencia, se deben reforzar y ampliarse aún más. El proceso de formación de vínculos combativos no se detuvo ni siquiera durante el período pre-electoral.Los candidatos a diputados, los cuadros del KKE y de la KNE, las organizaciones del Partido han desempeñado un papel destacado en todas las batallas cruciales del período anterior, incluso en el período entre las elecciones de mayo y de junio.
Nos hemos encontrado con cientos de trabajadores y gente de las capas populares contra las subastas de casas y pequeños comercios, en las movilizaciones contra los crímenes de la patronal en la zona de construcción y reparación naval, en Lavrio y otros lugares con obreros muertos, en las movilizaciones para condenar el crimen con cientos de inmigrantes y refugiados muertos a poca distancia de las costas de Pylos, en las movilizaciones de los campesinos en defensa de sus ingresos. Hemos luchado exitosamente para cambiar la correlación de fuerzas en las elecciones de sindicatos como el de LARKO, en varios hospitales, aprovechando el prestigio elevado de los comunistas en el frente de la salud, particularmente en el período de la pandemia, así como en otros lugares.
En total, dentro de la correlación política negativa que sigue existiendo, se expresa un aumento dinámico de la influencia electoral del Partido que continúa y es un elemento positivo también de esta batalla y resultado electoral. Se trata de una dinámica que tiene un impacto más amplio que su expresión electoral y está vinculado con la lucha por la formación y masificación de organizaciones y asociaciones del movimiento obrero-popular, por el cambio de la correlación de fuerzas durante todos estos años, en decenas de elecciones de sindicatos, asociaciones, uniones, federaciones, centros laborales, de la clase obrera, de los campesinos, de los profesionales autónomos, de los artesanos, los comerciantes, los científicos, los estudiantes secundarios y universitarios, los médicos, los profesores.
Sabemos que los que decidieron apoyar al KKE no hicieron una “elección fácil”. Se enfrentaron a dilemas chantajistas, prejuicios, la propaganda dominante, las ilusiones gubernamentales.
Los diputados electos del KKE a partir de hoy están allí donde hemos prometido; al frente de las luchas, por los problemas obreros-populares, al lado de los trabajadores, las fuerzas populares, los jóvenes.
Seguimos decisivamente. Es crucial con toda esta gente que ha acercado al KKE durante todo este período, e independientemente de lo que hicieron en las elecciones, continuar la discusión, la acción conjunta sobre cuestiones que están en la agenda del día siguiente, para el desarrollo de la lucha popular, para el auge del movimiento obrero-popular.
El fortalecimiento del KKE al mismo tiempo da fuerza y optimismo a los partidos comunistas que luchan para cambiar la correlación de fuerzas en la lucha de clases en sus países, en las luchas de los trabajadores que estallan en un esfuerzo por reagrupar al movimiento comunista internacional.
El próximo día será difícil para el pueblo. El KKE a partir de mañana pondrá en práctica su compromiso de estar al frente de una oposición 100% obrera popular combativa. El pueblo griego no debe mostrar ninguna espera, no debe dar ningún período de gracia, sobre todo una gran parte de gente de las capas populares que votó a la ND con el corazón encogido.
A partir de mañana la clase obrera y las capas populares se enfrentarán a una nueva ronda de ataques en condiciones de nuevos desarrollos y elementos:
- La aplicación de las condiciones previas del nuevo memorándum para el desembolso de los tramos del Fondo de Recuperación y del Pacto de Estabilidad.
- El paso a una política fiscal estricta que en esencia significa una nueva ronda de recortes sociales y austeridad en nombre de los superávits primarios que se exigen por la Unión Europea y por el objetivo del “grado de inversión”.
- La posibilidad de una nueva crisis económica, cuyos señales de alarma ya existen en EE.UU y la UE, mientras que la economía capitalista griega se ralentiza. Se trata de cuestiones destacadas incluso en el Informe de Primavera de la Comisión Europea como en las recomendaciones del Banco de Grecia.
- Además, seguimos de cerca los desarrollos en la guerra imperialista en Ucrania, el intento de aumentar la implicación de Grecia en los planes de la OTAN, así como los acuerdos negativos que se están promoviendo en las relaciones greco-turcas bajo el paraguas de la OTAN.
La ND ha expresado ya abiertamente su intención de acelerar la obra antipopular, de promover nuevos compromisos con la política de la UE y de los planes de la OTAN, una cuestión que se refleja también en la composición del nuevo gobierno.
En las direcciones de esta política en esencia consentirán tanto SYRIZA, como PASOK, así como otras fuerzas que hoy están en el parlamento.
Tenemos por delante nuevos hitos antipopulares:
La cumbre de la OTAN donde se tomarán nuevas decisiones para implicarse en la guerra de Ucrania, con el trasfondo de los desarrollos y de la confrontación inter-burguesa en Rusia que se ha expresado también de forma de un conflicto armado.
El compromiso de aprobar hasta finales de agosto un importante paquete de medidas previas antiobreras antipopulares en el marco de los compromisos del Fondo de Recuperación, teniendo como punta de lanza básica el ataque fiscal contra la clase obrera y los trabajadores autónomos.
El KKE contribuirá inmediatamente para que se libre la lucha, en las calles y en el parlamento, contra todos los proyectos de ley antipopulares, contra la escalada de la implicación en los planes de la OTAN; será la voz del pueblo, contra esta correlación política negativa en total.
La correlación sigue siendo negativaprincipalmente porque los partidos que apoyan la política de los grupos empresariales, la UE, la OTAN, siguen contando con el apoyo de la gran mayoría obrera y popular. Esto no significa una aceptación de la política antipopular, no significa que los que votaron por ejemplo la ND consienten su programa antipopular. Un elemento de la correlación negativa no es la precipitación electoral del polo socialdemócrata expresado por SYRIZA y PASOK, sino la desilusión y el fatalismo que sistemáticamente cultiva este espacio, el punto de vista de que no existe alternativa, que llevó a fuerzas obreras y populares a abandonar estos partidos y apoyar en las elecciones a la ND. Se han confirmado las grandes responsabilidades de la socialdemocracia en todas sus versiones (SYRIZA y PASOK) porque siembran el compromiso, el consenso con la estrategia antipopular, ponen obstáculos al movimiento obrero-popular. Ahora buscan ocultar la responsabilidad de los partidos que como gobierno y como oposición sirvieron al sistema explotador, proyectando líneas divisorias entre derecha, centro e izquierda.
Una cosa que se ha demostrado es que los que prometían que podrían cambiar las cosas a favor del pueblo, sirviendo a los objetivos de los grupos empresariales, del sistema capitalista, de la UE, es decir sin entrar en conflicto, sin ruptura con el poder del capital, la UE y la OTAN, le mintieron.
Solo el KKE le dice la verdad, que sí podemos cambiar las cosas, pero para ello hace falta derrocar la situación actual.
El aumento de la presencia en el Parlamento de sector ultra-derecha y fascista es otro elemento negativo de estas elecciones, sin embargo, no es la primera vez que tales fuerzas registran un tal porcentaje: en 2012 y en 2015 estas fuerzas registraron un porcentaje superior al 10%. No debemos mostrar ninguna complacencia, porque se ha demostrado una vez más que las raíces del nazi-fascismo están en el sistema y en el propio Estado, son profundas y existen varios centros e intereses que las apoyan, puesto que son frutos de este sistema de explotación podrido. Lo que fomenta el fascismo es la política oficial de la UE, del anticomunismo y de la teoría de los dos extremos, la política de la UE en cuestiones de inmigración, las políticas de represión y de ataque contra el movimiento obrero-popular.
Su proyección excesiva por los medios de comunicación y los centros del sistema durante el período anterior como un voto antisistema, como ocurrió también en 2012-2015, contribuyó a su “inflación”.
A este resultado han contribuido también las obstrucciones inaceptables en el juicio del Amanecer Dorado, así como el hecho de que diversas fuerzas políticas adulaban a los partidarios de los nazis o adoptaban su agenda política.
Se ha confirmado que el nazi-fascismo a causa de su carácter no se confronta a través de intervenciones legislativas, que incluso abren caminos peligrosos, sino que son un asunto del propio movimiento obrero-popular, y el KKE seguirá luchando en esta dirección, tal como ha hecho en todo el período anterior.
El KKE seguirá y participará activamente en el debate que se abra objetivamente también en los desarrollos políticos,los procesos que se desarrollan en SYRIZA, quizás también en PASOK, así como en otras fuerzas políticas más pequeñas. Los que han sido decepcionados por el PASOK en el pasado, por SYRIZA hoy, deben dar un paso adelante. La respuesta no está ni en el esfuerzo de restaurar la socialdemocracia, ni un nuevo círculo vicioso de falsas ilusiones y engaños. La respuesta está en la política del KKE, en el camino de la lucha de clases, de las luchas obreras y populares coordinadas en el camino del derrocamiento.
Consideramos firmemente que las correlaciones cambian. Nada permanece estático. El sistema político burgués tendrá dificultades en el período próximo, como había ocurrido en el pasado. De todos modos, incluso las cifrasmuestran que a partir de 2019 hasta hoy cientos de miles de votantes han abandonado la ND, SYRIZA, independientemente si han optado por un voto de protesta o abstención.
El KKE librará la lucha junto con miles de trabajadores y jóvenes que abandonan los callejones sin salida de la socialdemocracia y de los demás partidos burgueses, para reforzar de nuevo la esperanza. Nos dirigimos ya a todos ellos a unir fuerzas y tomar acción junto con el KKE. Contra la desilusión, el fatalismo y el compromiso que fomentan SYRIZA y otras fuerzas, el KKE insiste en que la esperanza para el pueblo está aquí; en el camino del conflicto con esta política, con este sistema, con las direcciones de la UE, con los compromisos de la OTAN.
El camino para el cambio de la correlación está en el fortalecimiento de la corriente de cuestionamiento de la política burguesa, de su carácter clasista, de los partidos y los gobiernos que la sirven, del Estado del capital; de la corriente que no busca nuevos salvadores de la alternancia gubernamental, de la corriente que busca la solución a los problemas actuales a través de la lucha organizada, la participación en el movimiento, la acción colectiva y la lucha de clases.
Tenemos por delante importantes luchas políticas. Destacamos en este proceso la batalla de las elecciones municipales y regionales. Es posible que se exprese en esta batalla también una mayor agrupación de fuerzas obreras y populares que toman acción junto con el KKE, en las listas de la “Agrupación Popular” a nivel nacional.
