The statement reads:
"Recently, especially in Germany, there have been more and more statements from the ranks of left forces who think they can make "clever" proposals to the people, the government and the Communist Party in Cuba for a change in Cuba's policy. The Left Party (Die Linke) calls for dialogue with the so-called opposition in Cuba.
They forget that dialogue with the people has existed for a long time, which was shown not least in the process of drafting the new constitution. The resolution of the last party executive meeting of the Left Party states: "For the Left Party, human rights are universal, they apply to everyone - everywhere! We advocate a continuation of the dialogue in Cuba with critical artists and activists for the democratisation of Cuban society."
The dialogue that is advocated there is the recognition of forces that are counting on the elimination of socialism in Cuba with "fedoras", that is, processes such as we experienced in the European socialist countries, which then ultimately made counterrevolution possible. And all of this with the vehicle of "human rights", i.e. the argument with which imperialism likes to justify its wars. As an aside, they accuse Cuba of not being democratic and thus deny an electoral system that involves the entire population.
We are sure that Cuba does not need such recommendations and will nevertheless continue to defy the inhuman blockade, the imperialist diversion together with the Cuban people and stick to the building of socialism under the most difficult conditions.
Others criticize Cuba's struggle to increase productivity under the conditions of a world market dominated by imperialism. The steps that Cuba is taking here do not seem to these forces to correspond enough to the dogmatic recitation of alleged Marxist doctrines. They go so far as to accuse leading Cuban comrades of being counter-revolutionaries.
For the German Communist Party it is clear: solidarity with the Cuban revolution, solidarity with the difficult path of building socialism, helps to determine on which side of the barricade one stands oneself. On the side of imperialism and counterrevolution or on the side of international solidarity and proletarian internationalism."

Wir bleiben an der Seite des sozialistischen Kubas!
In letzter Zeit mehren sich, vor allem in Deutschland, die Äußerungen aus Reihen von Linkskräften, die meinen, Volk, Regierung und Kommunistischer Partei in Kuba „kluge“ Vorschläge für eine Veränderung der Politik Kubas machen zu können. Die Linkspartei fordert dazu auf, mit der sogenannten Opposition in Kuba in einen Dialog zu treten. Sie vergessen, dass es den Dialog mit dem Volk schon lange gibt, was sich nicht zuletzt beim Prozess der Erarbeitung der neuen Verfassung gezeigt hat. Im Beschluss der letzten Parteivorstandstagung der Linkspartei heißt es: „Für DIE LINKE gilt, Menschenrechte sind universell, sie gelten für jede und jeden – überall! Wir treten ein für eine Fortsetzung des Dialogs in Kuba mit kritischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern sowie Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten zur Demokratisierung der kubanischen Gesellschaft.“ Der Dialog, für den dort eingetreten wird, ist die Anerkennung von Kräften, die auf eine Beseitigung des Sozialismus auf Kuba mit „Filzlatschen“ setzen, also auf Prozesse, wie wir sie in den europäischen sozialistischen Ländern erlebten, die dann letztlich die Konterrevolution ermöglichten. Und das alles mit dem Vehikel „Menschenrechte“, also dem Argument, mit dem der Imperialismus gern seine Kriege rechtfertigt. Ganz nebenbei unterstellen sie Kuba, nicht demokratisch zu sein und leugnen damit ein Wahlsystem, das die gesamte Bevölkerung einbindet.
Wir sind sicher, Kuba braucht solche Empfehlungen nicht und wird trotzdem mit dem kubanischen Volk weiterhin der menschenverachtenden Blockade, der imperialistischen Diversion trotzen und unter schwierigsten Bedingungen am Aufbau das Sozialismus festhalten.
Andere kritisieren den Kampf Kubas um die Erhöhung der Produktivität unter den Bedingungen eines Weltmarktes, der vom Imperialismus beherrscht wird. Die Schritte, die Kuba hier geht, scheinen diesen Kräften nicht genug der dogmenhaften Rezitation angeblicher marxistischer Lehrsätze zu entsprechen. Sie gehen soweit, führende kubanische Genossinnen und Genossen als Konterrevolutionäre zu bezichtigen.
Für die Deutsche Kommunistische Partei ist eindeutig: Die Solidarität mit der kubanischen Revolution, die Solidarität mit dem schwierigen Weg des Aufbaus des Sozialismus, bestimmt mit darüber, auf welcher Seite der Barrikade man selbst steht. Auf der Seite von Imperialismus und Konterrevolution oder auf der Seite der internationalen Solidarität und des proletarischen Internationalismus.
