The decades-long filthy anti-communist propaganda by the imperialist mechanisms in the United States doesn't seem to be very successful. Despite the tones of anti-communist lies and history's falsification, which was strengthened after the counterrevolutionary events in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, young Americans "don't buy the fairytale" anymore.
The stooges of U.S. monopolies who lead the so-called "Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation" must be in despair following the results of a recent poll they paid for. According to the survey conducted by YouGov, 36% of millennials said that they approve of communism, which is up significantly from 28% in 2018.
At the same time, 70% of U.S. millennials- young men and women between the ages of 23 and 38 - answered that they would support a socialist candidate for president.
Another noteworthy result is that 22% of millennials believe that "society would be better if all private property was abolished", while 45% of Generation Z and millennials believe that "all higher education should be free".
More than a century since the 1917 Great October Socialist Revolution and 30 years since the counterrevolutionary events in the Soviet Union and the socialist countries, the spectre of communism is still haunting the capitalists and their servants. The rotten capitalist system, which generates and perpetuates poverty, unemployment, social injustice and wars, is outdated.
Only the organized struggle of the working class movement, developed towards an anti-monopoly, anti-capitalist direction, can pave the way for the real social change.
As for the professional anti-communists, they must be assured that historical progress cannot be stopped and that the 21st century will be the century of new socialist revolutions.
