With successful political and cultural events which attracted Greek immigrants as well as local comrades the Party organizations of the KKE in Britain and France honored the 100 years of the Communist Party of Greece.
On Saturday 17th November, the British branch of the KKE organized a successful event for the Party's 100th anniversary in the suburban district of Wood Green in London. The major speaker was Tilemachos Dimoulas, member of the Political Bureau of the CC.
The event was attented by hundreds of Greek, Cypriot and British communists and friends of the KKE, immigrants who work in London as well as representatives from the New Communist Party of Britain (NCP), AKEL, Communist Party- Italy and Tudeh.
The next day, a delegation of the KKE Party organization in Britain, headed by T.Dimoulas, visited the grave of Karl Marx in Highgate cemetery where they deposited flowers.
On Sunday 18th November, a respective political event was organized in Paris by the KKE Party Organization in France. Numerous young and older Greek immigrants attended the event, as well representatives from the Pole of Communist Revival in France (PRCF) and the Communist Revolutionary Party of France (PCRF).

The event included a video for the KKE's 100th anniversary and an interesting photo exhibition refering to the May 1968 events and the whole period of the anti-dictatorship struggle. A major speech was delivered by the KKE MEP Sotiris Zarianopoulos.
